Jed wins!

Results are in from the cross-country at Framlingham Castle last weekend. Jed Randall was a star leading the under 11’s fun run from start to finish. Moses Bigley did well in his 2nd race for the club finishing in 66th place and was first 4 year old. Mat Bigley came 7th and was first MV40 and Andrew Bell wasn’t far behind in 10th place. Sirkka Love was 4th FV60.
Kelly Mepham had a great run at the Lode, in her first Half Marathon , after just recovering from illness in time. She came 3rd lady in a time of 1:33:51 which puts her 4th on the club records. Neil Mustoe also had a good run and yet another PB. He ran 1:42:40 which is his 10th PB of the year! This moves him up to 5th in the PB league. Also getting a PB here was Kym Cromarty, who was expertly paced by Yusuf Firat to a great time of 1:46:56. Tony Bacon won the Lode fun run by over 3 minutes!
Lee Brown incredibly took almost a minute and a half off his 10 mile PB , which he had only set the week before! This was at the Bure Valley 10, and was his 17th PB of the year! Just 2 PB’s behind Yusuf in the PB league. Can Lee catch Yusuf before the Awards Night?
At the Histon Bonfire Burn 10K 3 of our 5 runners got PB’s! Westley Walker ran a PB of 38:50 and came 21st out of 920 runners! Joanne Vickery and Beverley Reynolds also got PB’s here, running exactly the same time of 59:55!
Check out the link to the parkrun results on the results page too. Siobhan Dockerill was first female at Great Cornard in an excellent time of 20:10, which I believe is close to her PB. Andy Barber came 8th at Thetford in 20:31.
