GCAN Club Support Forum

Hello all,

Here are the details for an event being run by the Greater Cambridge Athletics Network.Sounds like it will be an interesting evening. Open to all but may be especially useful for run leaders, coaches or those considering getting more involved.

Club Support Forum being organised in conjunction with the Greater Cambridge Athletics Network. Both Sarah Wightman (GCAN) and Tania Spurling as England Athletics Club Support Manager will be in attendance to lead the forum.

Date: Monday 17th July

Time: 7-8.30pm

Venue: Anglia Ruskin University, Compass House, Room 104. Compass House is ARU’s Sport Science department, on East Road in central Cambridge:

Open to: Any club representatives (including Coaches, leaders, officials, committee members or club volunteers)

Cost: Free to attend

Overview:  The forum will provide club representatives with the opportunity to hear an overview of GCAN plans/updates, an overview of England Athletics Club Support Manager role, opportunity for discussion around club development topics (e.g.. Club Development; Coaching; Volunteering; Officiating) to identify possible support for local clubs and an open forum to discuss/ask questions regarding any club development matters.
