Bright and Oglesby keep getting PB’s

Kristina Bright and Steve Oglesby are having a good battle at the top of the PB league. Both got PB’s at the Framingham 10K, which means Kristina is top with 12 PB’s and Steve is just behind with 11. Kristina knocked 32 secs off her best to record 56:19 and Steve took 1min 11secs off running 50:24. Steve Mason was our first runner to finish, he ran 38:23 and came 22nd out of 340 finishers. Teresa Franklin was our first lady to finish running 54:06.
At the Bedford Half Marathon Kelly Mepham was our first runner to finish. She was 15th female and ran 1:31:08. Kelly Hamed got a 2:22:27 PB, taking 2 minutes off her best.
In the Bedford Twilight 10K Jack Tappin ran 49:21. Bryn Stuppell ran a PB of 1:05:43 taking a massive 4:23 off his previous best!
It was a good day for the Goodwin’s at the Olympic Park 10K with both Rob Goodwin & Alison Goodwin getting PB’s. Both took big chunks off as well, with Rob taking 4:35 off by running 53:40 and Alison taking 3:32 off to record 54:42! Yusuf Firat ran 43:39 and was 6th in his age group.
Sil Clay was our first runner to finish in the hot Takeley 10K. She ran 55:12 and was 7th in her age category.
Tony Bacon was first at the Haverhill parkrun 18:34. Six year old Dougie Millard got another PB, now 26:32! Louise Harris got a 33:47 PB.
Jan Walker got a 32:54 PB at Great Notley parkrun.
Nicola King just got a PB at Thetford parkrun, taking 2 secs off her previous best, by running 30:44.
