Paul Game (19:48) finished 1st at Haverhill parkrun this week, followed in by fellow HRC runners Paul Murkln (20:54) and David Percy (21:53). Sorren Spall, one of our junior runners finished in 7th overall with a brilliant time of 23:22. Sue Turley (28:02) made her Haverhill park run debut, finishing in 16th place. Cheryl Eden (28th, 32:48) ran her fastest time on the Haverhill course.
Clare Everitt and Kristina Bright both celebrated their 25th volunteer sessions. Well done!
Naomi Shelmerdine (295, 29:55), Fiona Tideswell (6th, 20:57) and Terry Braverman (407, 34:36) had good runs at Cambridge. Joaquim Monteiro (159th, 28:40) was the only HRC runner at Bury this week, a course which will really be getting muddy about this time of year! Peter Brunning (267, 33:14) flew the HRC flag at Wimpole. Alison (46th, 26:50) and Rob Goodwin (52nd, 27:12) travelled to Brandon Country park for their park run this week.
At Clare Castle Luke Withers (20:09) managed another PB! He improved his time by a further 26 seconds, was 7th overall and 1st in his age category! Chris Hawkins (20:07) finished just 2 seconds ahead of Luke, in 6th place. Craig Ladley (21:45) also achieved a 5k PB beating his previous time by 2 seconds and finishing in 8th place. Kevin Jamieson (134th, 40:46) also ran for HRC at Clare Castle this week. Janette Walker (222nd, 36:39) ran at Great Notley for HRC and is now only 5 runs away from hitting 50 parkruns! Tony Bacon (30th, 20:40) and Karina Hunt (274th, 35:05) ran at Coldhams Common this week for the first time
Kim McGinley (276th, 38:35) wins the prize this week for furthest away park run! She ran the Melkbosstrans park run in Cape Town South Africa!
This week Michelle, Della Johnson and Sarah Camfiled, Sarah Stuppell and Sally Johnston all ran their longest runs to date!! Well done ladies!
In this weeks wintery time trial Cheryl Eden bagged herself a 5K PB, finishing in 30:47. Also grabbing PBs in the cold were Becca Sims (35:14) and Sally Johnston (35:08). Craig Ladley managed his second PB of the week, knocking 31 seconds off his time just a few days earlier! Brilliant running everyone who braved the cold!!
