Club Records made again this week!

Kirsty Millard had a very successful run at the Olympic Park Half Marathon. She knocked over three minutes off her previous time to get a new PB pf 1:32:37. This moves her up the club records table to 4th!!

Shirley Fowler was out on the marathon trail again this week, running one with a difference – 8 out and backs – crossing the same bridge 16 times. Although a pub finish helped out!

The first cake run of 2019 was a great success. Runners braved the weather and some mud to earn some yummy cake at the Everitt household after. Everyone throughly enjoyed the run and £100 was raised for our charity of 2019, The Joshua Tarrant Trust.

At Bury St Edmunds parkrun Joaquin Monteiro finished in 28:43 and finished in 138th position. Karina Hunt (80th, 30:27) ran at Pymmes parkrun for the first time and is now only three runs away from 100 parkruns! Polly Russell (154th, 29:12) ran at Wimpole Estate for the first time, accompanied by Peter Brunning (254th, 35:02) and Terry Braverman (301st, 39:38). Jannette Walker (78th, 34:51) headed over the Clacton. Chris Hawkins (20:12) had a strong run to finish in second at Clare Castle this week and was closely followed in by Luke Withers (20:33) in 4th.
