First guided trail run of the year

The Dog and Duck Dash is back

The evenings are lighter and the temperatures are (sometimes) warmer, that means that the guided trail runs are back!! Join us this Thursday (16th May) for the first one. If you haven’t done one before here’s how it goes: turn up during the ‘starting window’, get a list of instructions, follow them around local countryside for a lovely evening run, finish at the pub. I’m going out tomorrow to check on the route so I will let you know about the mud situation. There will be no pacers so just run how you want!! There will also be no club run from the leisure centre so our pacers can have a nigh off!

The details for the first one are:

Start: Dog and Duck, High Street, Linton

Time: 5:30 onwards.

Please plan your start accordingly. I will be at the pub to make sure you get back ok until 8:30pm only. After that if you are later it is up to you to let me know you are back.

Route: a 4.7ish mile route taking in the scenery near Linton Zoo

And

a 7.5ish mile route that takes you out to Abington and back

You can run in a group or on your own it’s up to you. If you don’t have anyone to run with then just post on fb to find a squad.

Please wear hi-viz and someone in the group must have a mobile phone in case of problems.

Parking at the pub is limited, please use the public car park two minutes away on Coles Lane.

Stay and have a drink after – it’s a lovely pub that’s just had a nice refurbishment. If you want food (it’s really good) you need to book in advance.

Come and find me in the beer garden, unless it’s raining then I’ll be inside!

See you there!!!
