This week Graeme Johnston completed his long awaited and hard trained for marathon. He had a good run despite the wet conditions up in Edinburgh! Graeme was first HRC male to finish!!
Eight HRC runners headed over to do the Hatfield Broad Oak 10K – a very popular road race known for its lovely setting and good tshirts! Kevin Millard was first HRC male home in 43:34 and Mary Ann Tuli finished first HRC lady in 48:15. Marc Benson, Ross Arnold, Alison and Rob Goodwin, Cherilyn Lane and Ruth Bayne all also ran. Natasha Smith got a PB on this course too!
A small contingent headed down to do the Vitality events and shared the streets with Mo Farah. Suz Carter-White, Alison Smith, Gina Hickey, Della Johnson, Louise Thompson, Tony Gooding (who got a 10K PB!) and Liam Connaughton were flying the HRC flag.
There were some PBs at Haverhill parkrun this week including Sami Watson and Dougie Millard who is now on 23:55! An amazing result at such a young age!
Fiona Tideswell was in the south east this week at Pegwell Bay where she finished 1st lady! Her time of 19:38 moves her up the club records into 4th position! Christopher Hall and Laura Brown ran for HRC up north at Newbiggin by the Sea.
