HRC needs you!! 🏃🏼‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃‍♀️

What: Ekiden Relay
When: Sunday 14th July, 9:30am juniors 10:20am seniors
Where: Woodbridge School – hosted by Ipswich JAFFA

This is a fantastic 26.2 mile team event run by teams of six as a relay. Legs: 1 x 7.2km, 3 x 5km and 2 x 10k
HRC are entering 6 teams
Cost: £8 per person

There is also a Junior race which will be run by teams of 4 as a relay – (Under 16s only with under 8s to run with an adult). Legs: 4 x 1.1 miles
HRC are entering 3 teams
Cost: £4:50 per person

HRC are once again entering 6 adult teams and 3 junior teams (priority will be given to paid up junior members 12+). Places are however limited, so if you are interested (junior or senior) in taking part and running as part of a team, please comment below AND get your money in an envelope to Clare Everitt or Sarah Stuppell with your name, age and your current 5k or 10k time.

You will be put into teams dependent on ability and/or age category. If you have a preference for which leg you run please let us know but we can’t promise you will get it!!

It’s first come first served so your place will not be confirmed until your money is with us. Once you pay, you are committed to running and if you are no longer able to run it will be YOUR responsibility to find someone to run in your place.

This event is a really nice team day out, suitable for the whole family to come and watch and enjoy. We take along the club gazebo, everyone brings along a picnic and has a really nice time. So if you’re new to the club it’s a brilliant event to get involved in, even if you just come and watch. I’m sure those that have taken part previously will tell you how good it is!
