No greek tragedies for Bryan!

Bryan Rootes was in Greece last week and decided to run a 10K whilst there which he went on to win! Congratulations Bryan!!

Andy Brown was second in the adults and youth race at the Meadowlark Duathlon. Mini member Max Bell was also taking part – following in his dad Andrew’s footsteps!

This months Kevin Henry was a tough one. It’s not know for its PB potential – might have something to do with the special track for the racehorses that runs along the back stretch. I think we can all agree the soft surface is a real strength sapper. But Nicki Davis still managed an excellent run and finished in the First Lady position, like Kelly Mepham did last year! Jason Gale got a PB here of 20:45 as did Mark Phillips who knocked nearly 40 seconds off his previous PB!

New junior member Peter Johnston is making his mark by getting a 5k PB of 22:02 in his first week as a member!

Well done Louise Thompson on your 50th parkrun – a great achievement! Christine Taylor also got a PB at Haverhill parkrun this week. Paul Game finished 1st very closely followed by Nicki Davis for another First Lady position! She was chased in by Paul Murkin who was just two seconds behind her. Carl Oldford included the course in his LSR and managed a strong run despite the weather!

At the Framlingham Friday 5 Lee Taylor managed a 1 second PB!

Suz Carter-White is working on getting the family running by completing the Stansted fun run – she then headed off around the hilly tough 10K course along with HRC friends Clare Everitt, Della Johnson, Alison Smith, Sarah Harris and Emma Brown.

Stephen Miller added cycling and swimming to his run this week by completing the Sudbury Sprint Triathlon against a tough field he finished strong in his age category.
