Miller runs sub-16 min 5k

Another week of great performances from club members. Apologies I’m a bit late due to family commitments!

Peter Miller ran in the MK5000 track event and smashed his PB by coming second and getting a time of 15:45. Absolutely amazing at that pace to knock that amount of time off. Many of you will have seen peter at training sessions and know how hard he’s been working. It’s certainly paid off!

There were some great runs and new pbs at the Littleport 10k. Tracy Lane improves her time by two minutes to get a new pb and Sarah Camdfield knocked nearly three minutes off hers. Jamie Randall was 25th and got a new pb of 41:14 a d his son Jed is still getting quicker. He was 4th in the 1 mule fun run and ran a 6:17 mile!

Alison Smith squeezes in a new 2 second pb at the Lee Valley Velopark 10k. In the 10 mile event Michelle Gardner managed a brilliant three minute pb even in heavy rain!

Shirley Fowler ran her 90th run towards her 100 marathons! Only 262 miles to go Shirley!

Great to see  members out running despite injuries, illnesses and holidays. Grace judge is working hard and Terry Braverman is taking his medical devices on his runs – nothing stops him! Carl Oldford has been working on his hill training during a 1600ft elevation run!!

Parkrun produced pbs for Laura Brown Hall and Sarah and Andy Hammett-Ridsdale.

Well done everyone!!!!
