Age 11 or over on 26 th Oct 2025.\nNO “Guests” are allowed to run in the event and all competitors must be fully paid-up members of SWL Clubs. \nBoth Races start opposite the barracks on Sutton Heath.\nPLEASE TAKE CARE CROSSING THE ROAD\, this will be heavily marshalled.\nMarshals or signs will point runners in the right direction. There will be plenty of marshals with VHF radios around the course and the First Aid Team have an all-terrain vehicle capable of reaching all parts of the course.\nALL RUNNERS ARE ASKED TO BE KIND\, COURTEOUS AND MINDFUL OF OTHER RUNNERS AT THE UNAVOIDABLE CHOKE POINTS. DESCRIPTION:SUFFOLK ROAD RELAYS – 22nd MARCH\n\nEntries are now open and we are excited to start putting teams together! We had 9 teams take part last year and it would be fantastic if we could get that again – or more! It’s a great day out and not as scary as it sounds – no baton to worry about fumbling as it’s chip timed!\n\n\n\nIf you are interested in taking part in this event please fill out the form by following the below link.\n\n\n\nhttps://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfRFvybDZMndh8nRAg0QqVBKFpMg96pwcIByHtLGhDvo7vaOQ/viewform?usp=publish-editor\n\n\n\nThe relays are held at the Northern Gateway Sports Park\, on the outskirts of Colchester (just off the A12\, opposite the Colchester United football ground). The races are run on a purpose-built cycle track (1 mile long)\, which has a lovely smooth tarmac surface and is mostly flat apart from a small man-made mound at one end. It’s very spectator friendly and you can cheer your club mates almost the whole way around\, which makes for a great atmosphere!\n\n\n\nTeams consist of 3 runners (4 for senior men) each running a 3 mile leg and there are separate races for the different age groups.\n\n\n\nIt would be great if we could have mens and ladies teams covering a few age groups. Teams are split into Open\, V40\, V50 and V60. Mixed ages can be in a team but means the team would be in the age category of the youngest runner.\n\n\n\nENTRY FEES WILL BE COVERED BY THE CLUB.
