What’s it all about? The Suffolk GP is a series of races where you can get competitive with others from around the county. Your scores from these races determine your position in the league. There are age graded categories to keep people level. Here are the rules:
In 2015 HRC won the series and had many individuals with top 3 placings. We were overall 5th in 2016 and 9th this year.
Your best five scores from the races you run are counted so you can play this to your advantage. The top five men and women for each club then contribute to the team score.
All of these races are really good, excellent atmosphere, some are known for their quality tshirts!!
As 2018 Captain I’d really like to encourage as many people to enter as possible! We have many people in the club who would be contenders for top spots and even if you don’t feel you are in that position its still a really good series to be part of – the events themselves are great races. But beware they fill up fast! All ages and abilities are welcome!
I will try to add scores etc as they are published. It’s always exciting to see how we are doing!
