Friday5 Series, Sudbury, Friday 14 June
Several juniors took part in the first 2k race of this summer series. Ben came first in his age group (U13) and third overall. Full results on Friday5 Series website.

Haverhill 5k Parkrun, Saturday 8 June
New member Peter got a massive PB of 22.02. At previous parkruns he’s done 23.17 (Tyne Green on 25 May) and 22.49 (Haverhill on 18 May).
Kevin Henry 5k series, Thursday 6 June, Newmarket
Four juniors (including newbie Peter) ran in the third race of the series, a warm, lovely evening. Although it’s a flat course, some of it is through sand! A few possible PBs.

Benji came first in a time of 10:42 and George was 9th in a time of 12:32. Results here.
Gorleston junior parkrun (2k), Saturday 4 May
Adam took part in the Gorleston junior park run coming 16th out of 60 and in a time of 9:49. A PB and fourth in his 11–14 age group.

Ben, Sorren and Adam took part, with Ben recording a brilliant PB and coming third.

Club 5km time trial, Thursday 28 March
Ben and Adam took part in the monthly time trial and both got PBs. Ben ran a stunning 19.41 and came ninth and Adam beat his dad in a time of 25.06.

Haverhill Suffolk Winter League Race
The club hosted the final race in the Suffolk Winter League on Sunday 24 March and it saw an amazing turnout from our juniors – 14 of them altogether, including our three recent joiners. It looked like a gruelling course but they all rose to the challenge. Well done to all of them and here are the results with the age group position.

You might have wondered where Tobin was. Well, he wasn’t wearing an HRC vest so he wasn’t picked up by our photographer, but someone else spotted him.
Ben and Harry had also both taken part in four races in the league qualifying them for a final league position: Ben 3rd and Harry 9th, both in the U13s.
Weekend of 9/10 March
Ben took part in the UK Inter Counties Cross Country Championships held on Saturday 9 March at Loughborough, representing Suffolk in the U13s Boys race. He came 193 out of 300 – a really good experience for Ben. Results are here.
Harry took part in the fifth race in the Suffolk Winter League, held at Fritton Lake on Sunday 10 March. Cold and muddy! Official results here.
Sunday 17 February
Six runners took part in the fourth race of the Suffolk Winter League held in Bury St Edmonds on Sunday 17 February. Described as lumpy!

Suffolk Cross Country Championships
Seven of our juniors took part in the Suffolk Cross Country Championships, held on Sunday 6 January at Culford School. They all performed brilliantly against the best opposition in the county. Here are the results:
