Hereward Relay – Sunday 28th November 2021
Keeley and Yusuf are putting teams together for this years Hereward Relay, if anyone would like to run this! This is a run that anyone can do!
Each team consists of 4 runners. There are 4 different runs (each including running over bridleways, fields, grass, roads, bridges and farm tracks) and you can choose which route you would like to do out of these:-
- Stage 1: Peterborough to Whittlesey (6.9 miles)-
- Stage 2: Whittlesey to March (10.5 miles)
- Stage 3: March to Welney (11.5 miles)
- Stage 4: Welney to Ely (10.9 miles)
They are lovely routes to run and it is a great day out cheering on your team mates! The cost per runner is £15 and you will receive a medal that is specific to the stage that you run. There are individual stage winner prizes as well as team prizes for the winners. There are also spaces if any of you would like to run the Ultra which is 39 miles and you complete all 4 stages. You will receive a slightly different medal for completing this race. The cost of the Ultra is £20 per runner.
