All members are invited to join us for the 2021 Annual General Meeting being held on Thursday 9th Dec, 7.45pm at Haverhill Arts Centre. The meeting will include reports from the chair and treasurer, followed by election of a new committee for the coming year. We will also address any points raised in the feedback questionnaire that you are all encouraged to complete HERE.
The committee will be formed of a Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Men’s Captain, Ladies Captain and up to eight Ordinary Committee Members. Role descriptions can be found on the website HERE , or you can speak to one of the existing committee to find out more.
You can put yourself forward for any role you like, even if the existing post holder isn’t standing down. However, we do know that we will be needing a new chair as unfortunately Hayley has decided not to stand for another year. New blood brings new ideas and renewed enthusiasm, so if you have some spare time and think you can help make the club even better, please get in touch.
If you want to stand for the committee but can’t attend the AGM, that’s not a problem. Just email chair@haverhillrunningclub.com detailing the role you’d like to put yourself forward for. Each person standing for the committee will need to be nominated by two other club members. This can either be done in advance via email to Hayley, or on the night.
