IT’S HOCKEYS WEEK!!!
The Hockeys League is a series of 5K races with a number of local clubs competing. And the real beauty of it is that everyone who takes part earns a point! So if you are worried that you are not too quick then don’t panic, you are there representing Haverhill Running Club and the more folk who take part the more points we earn! Can we get over 100 runners per race this year? There is no need to pre-register, just turn up and run!
The race is at Histon and Impington and starts at 7.30pm but please remember to park at Vision Park (CB24 9LF) and walk approx 1k to Chivers Farm.
Toilets are on the recreation ground.
We are allowed to have one car at the venue to put valuables in, so Clare will park her car there and if you would like to leave keys etc. in it please find Clare or Dan Everitt under the HRC banner.
I am told parking is limited so please arrange to car share as much as possible.
After you finish, you will be given a number, please find Yusuf Firat and Tracy Quarrell and give them your name and your token.
Just a reminder, to participate you must be a fully paid up member (first or second claim) with a club shirt. As has been mentioned we have a temporary supply issue with new kit so members are asked to bring any spares that may be shared out or in the event of nothing else being available please run in a black kit.
All information about the Hockeys League can be found on our website here https://haverhillrunningclub.com/hockeys-5k-league-2022/
