Did you know, you can view HRC’s top ten male and female performers of all time, for each of a range of distances, by visiting the dedicated area of the club website:

The table shows past and present members. Where a member has recorded more than one time that would be in the top ten, we display their best one.
There have been a number of race performances this year that have made these top ten tables.
In January, Kate Russell ran 21m16 to place 9th in the 5k Club Time Trials table.
In February, Andrew Quick’s 3h00m16 at the Dubai Marathon saw him land 6th place in the marathon table. In the same month, Anna O’Hare hit 2nd place in the 10k table for her 39m49 at the London Winter 10k.
Chay Hopkins made 6th place in the 5mile table with a 28m10 at Bury Friday Five, but then improved on that later in the same month, so his 27m33 at Stowmarket saw him jump to 2nd place overall. Later on in the year at Thurlow, Chay went quicker still, still placed 2nd but improving his time to 27m05.
Also smashing the Friday Fives, Vashti MacDonald-Clink made 6th place with 35m00 at Framlingham, but went over a minute quicker at Sudbury, and so that time of 33m56 places her 5th in the 5 mile table.
Andrew Mynott has moved over to represent HRC in the 5k Summer Series, with a number of strong performances – and his 16m10 at Carver Barracks sees him hit 6th place in our 5k table.
Also in the 5k Summer Series, two of our junior graduates have been making a big impact.
Kate Russell got 20m48 at the first race of the series at Impington, and Sophie Horler-Impey got 21m08 at Newmarket, placing them 9th and 10th on the table respectively.
Both then improved their times at Carver Barracks, with Kate getting 20m45, but being leap-frogged – and thus dropping down to 10th – by Sophie’s 19m58 which places her 4th in the table.
