Sorry this is a little delayed. I must admit it totally slipped my mind that Abington was in the Club Championships this year. (Thank you Sil for the reminder 🙂 )

Don’t forget there are still 3 opportunities to score points for this year’s championships at Thurlow 5M/10M, Stebbing 10M and Hadleigh 5M/10M (entry links are on the Championships page).
It’s also worth noting that next weekends Thurlow 5M and 10M are also the final races in the Suffolk GP. Currently we are in 4th place behind Ipswich Jaffa, however it’s theoretically possible that we could overtake them and finish 3rd if we get a good turn out at Thurlow. What we do need though is to have a full team of 5 men and 5 women in each race to stand a chance. In the 5M race we currently have 4 men and 13 ladies, so we need more men to enter that. In the 10M race we have 7 men and 3 ladies, so we need more ladies to enter that. Let’s do this!
