The Kedington 5K is making a comeback this year! Our fixture of the summer 5K league will take place on Thurs 3rd Aug.
I’ll be Race Director for this year but going forward it would be great to have someone else take over this role to ensure it continues. If you haven’t organised a road race before it can be quite daunting, so we’re offering someone the chance to help/shadow me this year with a view to taking on the lead role next year. If you wanted to take it really seriously there’s also the opportunity to attend a Race Director training day run by EA.
You don’t need to have done anything like this before, you just need to be a good organiser and able to keep calm under pressure. If you’re interested or want to know more, drop me a message.
