Club Record Performances

Some fantastic results from club members so far this year, and amongst them we have seen three runners make it onto the record tables. These tables show the best performances from the top ten quickest runners (separate tables for male and female) across the club’s history, for various race distances.

Kate Russell ran 21:16 at January’s time trial, putting her 9th in the all-time list for this category. Showing great consistency, Kate’s time in the February time trial would also have been good enough for 9th place if her January time hadn’t been ever so slightly quicker.

Andrew Quick lived up to his name with a superb run at the Dubai Marathon on 12 February, with a time of 3:00:16. Andy was already in the top ten with a previous result but this moved him up to 6th place.

And last but by no means least, a storming sub 40mins run at the London Winter 10k from Anna O’Hare, 39m49 to be exact, saw her enter the table at number 2, less than a minute off the all-time club record.

If you run a time you think qualifies you for a club record, I should pick it up automatically, but if not feel free to let me know – it deserves to be celebrated. You can submit your result in the usual way using the link on the results page.
